When a skeleton is found locked in the elevator of a mansion that the Blackbird sisters have recently inherited from their Aunt Madeleine, many suspect an accidental death due to lack of electricity. But Nora smells foul play, especially when the mansions treasures and artwork are found missing. Nora's special bond with her benevolent aunt spurs her to seek the truth and bring a killer to justice while trying to keep her sisters in line. Emma is expecting a mysterious love child and Libby is involved in a tabloid scandal. Michael is sidelined while under house arrest at the Blackbird Farm and is as naughty and distracting as ever.
