What makes this quilting book special is the fact that it is the companion book to the Children's Book: "The Quiltmaker's Gift"...which I highly recommend even that even adult quilters read for themselves as it is so inspiring. If not for the fact that it is the companion book, I would consider this to be just another quilt pattern book.
