As someone who knows little about vietnam other then what I have seen in movies this book gave me a new perspective. I really enjoyed it. I was expecting a litle more suspense but I also had no idea what the last days in vietnam were like. The beginning is a little slow but gets better toward the end you get to know the people better and the evacuation window narrows.

This is a very readable book for anyone who is interested in the last hours that Americans spent in Saigon during the Vietnam War. The authors have researched all of the movements of the various individuals and put them together into a cohesive whole.
