Graphically Speaking

An Illustrated Guide to the Working Language of Design and Printing

Book - 1992
Rate this:
Clear, practical definitions (2,782) supplemented with illustrations (some in color), offer guidance for people involved in any aspect of publication production. The alphabetic arrangement allows for quick access, but a subject index would have greatly amplified utility. For example, although some cross referencing is provided (alternate terms, mostly), the book paper entry is not cross-referenced to the lightweight paper entry or to who-knows-how-many other entries concerning paper. The Spanish word for each term is provided, along with a Spanish index. Annotation copyright by Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
