First poetry book I ever read cover-to-cover, amazing stuff. Obviously with 300-some poems the topics covered are vast and they range: deeply serious, funny, erotic, poignant, angry, calming and often tied to injustice she and others experienced. Vibrant and full of wisdom, left a deep impression
