This book contained a lot of information about the Beatles as a group and as individuals. Some of the things included were each of their personal histories, with many great photographs. These photographs are very rare; most have never been posted on the internet. They looked completely authentic. I think they were a great asset to accurately reflect The Beatles in their life before the band. It is completely humbling to read about the lives of four members from the greatest band to date. The histories started at birth, with background of their parents and heritage. They then progressed into their childhood and their lives growing up. The next chapter was their teen years and the beginning of their love for music. Then you start to see the band unfold. The book shows exactly when and where the band started, who the creators were and who was added later. It captures them as a budding music group until their first American appearance in the 70s. Later you find the book outlines The Beatles as legends and it shows what exactly they have changed in America. The Beatles changed civilization; they were a band like no other. I feel that this book properly illustrates The Beatles as The Beatles, but also as people. It is a great read and also a proper form of memorabilia for The Beatles. The book illustrated the great times of the Beatles and commemorated the group as a building block in the musical industry. Overall great book, a must read for any Beatles fan.
